INTERACTION

What is interactive language teaching?                                                                                                                        It’s when we share with the others while learning; that means that we have to promote communication among our students by doing activities in short and long group discussions where they can collaborate with thoughts, feelings, and ideas in order to interact and get knowledge in an effective way.
In Interactive Language teaching, get competence so that they can increase their skills while doing discussions skits, joint problem solving tasks, or dialogues.

What impact may it have in the English classroom?
It   may have the impact that students will be, lets say, independent. That means that they are going to look for different ways of learning, guided for their teacher, of course. They are going to be more practical because of the things they´re going to look for by using discussions, dialogues, and some other in which they will share different points of view about a certain topic. Therefore, Interactive Language Teaching enables students to determine their own role and try things for themselves.

Why use groups in the classroom?
Well, the initiation of interaction in the students is the most important key to create an interactive language classroom. So, we have to groups in order to provide our students with the guidance need to interact each one another. Communication becomes very important, that´s why forming groups help the teacher and the students to find the best ways to develop those skills they must empower so that they can easily get the knowledge they need to have opportunities and competence in the class.

What are the advantages and disadvantages it has in ELT?
Advantages
Ø  Students become independent while performing different activities.
Ø  Students get involved in communicative activities.
Ø  Students are provided with opportunities to find out what they by hearing what they say.
Ø  The teacher is fully aware of the group dynamics of a classroom.
Disadvantages
Ø  We can only use interactive methods in our teaching                                          Ø  Students get accustomed to working with group activities.

HOW DO MANAGEMENT PARAMETERS HELP TO MAKE LESSONS MORE EFFECTIVE?
We,teachers, know that if we don´t look at what happens around us in the classroom, we won´t get a good lesson; we can not take control of our students when we don´t think of management parameters because we won´t be able to enable them. In there, we have to use management parameters in order to get our students on task and we will also get an effective teaching.

WHY DO YOU WANT TO TEACH?

Because I like to share what I know with other people. Moreover, I love helping persons to get what is good for them. Moreover, Teaching is a special calling. It is not a job well-suited to everyone. In fact, many new teachers leave within the first 3-5 years of teaching. However, there are many rewards that come with this oft maligned career. there are many reasons why teaching can be a great profession for me.

Book: Transformational teaching in the information age                                                                                                                                                             IN YOUR OWN WORDS, EXPLAIN THE TRANSFORMATION PEDAGOGY MODEL AND HOW IT MAY IMPACT THE LIVES OF BOTH PRE-SERVICE AND IN-SERVICE TEACHERS. MAKE SURE YOU CITE SPECIFIC SECTIONS OF THE CHAPTER.
Well, the transformation pedagogy model consists on a creative perspective
through all its extensions, from synthesizing seminal and contemporary
knowledge in the fields of pedagogy and educational philosophy,
to adding psychological and neurobiological information as applied
to teaching and learning.                                                                                                               A practitioner texts because he applies learning theory to pedagogy. It moves the teacher from pedagogical concepts to an understanding of how to teach to transform and illuminate.

EXPLAIN THE MOST IMPORTANT PURPOSE IN EDUCATION: SELF-FULFILLMENT. HOW CAN WE HELP OUR STUDENTS REACH THEIR POTENTIAL TO THE FULLEST?

This book is also for the teacher who likes to reflect upon the challenge
of connecting the two great goals in education: academic and social.
For the ones who have almost
taught  30 years at public school students, state university
students, and Christian university students. All students are
the inspiration for this writing. We are indebted to them: elementary,
middle, and high school students, undergraduate and graduate learners
whose wonderful curiosity and dedication formed the focus for the
book. As a reflection of our educational discourse with them, some of
their stories appear in this book, but the names of the students and most
of the teachers are intentionally fictitious. We are grateful for our students
and colleagues who encouraged us and who helped us field-test this writing through the lenses of their experience.Preservice and in service teachers all have had stories to tell, and we are better for their experiences.
These teachers have long been a source of inspiration and encouragement to students because they have the vision of nurturing the individual
potential of students.

HOW CAN WE, TEACHERS, BE A SOURCE OF INSPIRATION TO OUR STUDENTS?
A source of inspiration for choosing to teach and suggested personal characteristics is necessary in an effective teacher in today's multicultural classrooms. We have to take into account many aspects in our personality to insptre our students: Social, cultural, and some others that become important in teacher´s life. We have to encourage our students every day by involving and engaging them n every classroom activity.

                                               HOW SMART ARE YOU?

Although some people think we have only one intelligence or only some of them, it is not true for me because I think we get them all. But the only problem is that we don’t look for the way to empower them and maybe we focus on some of them while we forget the others. In order to get them, we have to experience and face different situations around us; but sometimes, we have to look for them and improve them, too. In my case, I have been doing many things since I started to study, but I don’t do some others anymore. In spite of that, I think all people have their multiple intelligences, and most of us have developed the intrapersonal and interpersonal intelligence the most. We get them all though it seems we don’t.

                                              My      DIGPA
On Monday, April 16th, 2,012, I taught the students the topic: “the verb to be”.
D. At the beginning, I told my students what the new topic was about and then I explained to them the use of the verb to be. Some of them were happy and interested about the class. Two students were cross talking a lot and ask them to pay attention; some students had problems to understand how to use it with third person singular and I explained to them so that the whole class understand. And at the end I asked them for questions, but nobody asked.
I. The students were cross talking a lot maybe because I didn’t encourage them into a good way to learn or they were just bored. As we know, giving instructions or explanations is a very important point when teaching; and some students asked about the verb to be in third person singular because I didn’t use the correct way to explain to them, or they have problems with their listening skills. At the end, nobody asked about the topic; so, I can say the understood what i taught them and everything what I meant.
G. When we have already explained the class to the students but they are still asking us something, you have to answer and try to re-explain to them in order to they don’t feel confused, frustrated, and unwilling to participate. I think it is important to make our students feel engaged and involved in the classroom events so that they don’t feel nervous and uncomfortable. We have to look for the way to encourage them.
PA. In my next classes, I will make sure of giving clearer explanations in order to my students don’t get confused. I will also use the most understandable way to make they all participate in the class. I will ask them for questions and if they don’t ask, I will make sure they understand by re-asking them a lot.

WHAT MOTIVATES YOU TO STUDY ENGLISH FOR THE TIME BEING?                      Maybe it is common to say: “I love teaching”. But actually, I decided to study English because of many things. Well, if a person likes teaching, that person would have chosen whatever the subject to teach such as: Science, Math, etc. The stronger reason for me to study English is that I really love it and I would like to share it with others persons (in this case students). Moreover, when speaking English there are many advantages; we have more possibilities of getting good jobs. Since I took my first English class at school, I liked it and as I loved to teach other persons, I told myself: “If I like and enjoy teaching and love English, why not to study English?”

WHAT STRATEGIES ARE YOU USING?                                                                  As we know, teaching sometimes becomes difficult because of many factors around students and also teachers. So, when being at the front of the class, we have to enable our students by making them feel they are the most important object of the teaching-learning process so that they get involved and engaged in every event of the class. We have to encourage them every day in order to they get the knowledge we hope. Our classes have to be funny for not to get our students bored and get a successful teaching.
